On July 27, 2022, a special honorary event was held in honor of Professor Emmanuel M. Chesmelis, Senior Physicist, Head of Relations with Associate Members and Non-Member States, CERN, Visiting Professor, Department of Physics, University of Oxford, during which he was awarded with the title of “Honorary Doctor” of the Physics Department of the University of Thessaly.
